I have lived my life in an open minded way. I learned early about homosexuality and how wonderful gay and lesbian friends could be at an early age. My mother's best friend was her stylist and I had known him since I was 12. When I was 18 I went to a Miss Gay Missouri Contest... it was GREAT!! In the end my friend (and yes, I counted him as my friend too) died of Aids. I still miss him, he was a truly talented artist. I taught cross dressers and drag queens the fine art of makeup.. styling wigs and getting those boobs to look real! I made friends in the leather community. But I hadn't really done any exploring into it myself. I started dating another woman and we hit one particular bar pretty heavy.... there were a lot of leather women that came in there. We became curious and started hanging out with them. Wow... did I find something that intrigued me!!! We played and played, and I found that being a submissive was NOT for me... My Domme Discovery had taken place.. :::::evil grin:::: Through these wonderful women in the scene I found out about PEP - People Exchanging Power and Nancy Ava Miller. They provide phone sessions where people who are interested in the alternative lifestyles can discuss it with women who are already into the scene. Many of the women are Lifestyle Dommes, that's me. And there are also women who are Professional Dommes and they provide a much needed service in our society. Our Society has so little knowledge about the alternatives and has a tendency to look down on those of us involved. I worked for PEP the first time in the mid '90's. It was a fabulous time in my life. Nancy and I started the first PEP support group in St Louis and I ran it with another woman for a couple of years. I had some medical issues and had to stop running the support group and had to stop taking calls. I've missed my clients and all of the people from the support group, it had really been going strong. I also had a small daughter and the lifestyle part of me had to end too. Now I live in the country in a small town, my daughter has moved out and I have a wonderful partner to play with... no, he's not my submissive.
